<color white>Very early in HardRock TerraFirmaCraft, your first set of tools will be made of stone. The required materials are easy to obtain in abundance and require only two rocks and one stick to make any stone tool.</color>

===== Obtaining =====
Rocks are obtained by picking up loose stone on the floor, and can also be obtained by mining raw stone. Flux stones are highlighted in yellow.

===== Flux =====
<color white>Flux is obtained by putting a flux stone into the crafting interface with a hammer. Only some rocks are flux rocks, which are highlighted above. Any hammer tool can be used.</color>

===== Knapping =====
<color white>Any of these recipes don't have to be done the exact way, they can be mirrored, flipped, rotated, which ever is comfortable. The durability of the tool is dependent on the rock type you use. Strongest to weakest is, Igneous Extrusive > Igneous Intrusive > Metamorphic > Sedimentary.</color>
